Ben Sharifian is an exceptionally talented hairstylist that has been training since the age of 12. He has travelled the globe refining his skill while training in North America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. As a fully licensend hair stylist and colourist, Ben loves to cut hair and this can be seen in the rapport he develops with his clients. Ben has never had an unsatisfied client leave his chair!

The media loves Ben's work! He has been showcased on CTV, City TV, Rogers TV, and in several salon magazines. He has also been featured in the Toronto Star, The Sun, and Metro newspapers. Ben is very proud of his countless awards, fashion and hair shows, and celebrity clientele that round out his portfolio.

Before working on a client, Ben listens to their concerns and desires and based on their features, information presented and, lifestyle he cuts and styles hair accordingly. "Not all hair can be cut the same", says Ben. "Ethnicity, hair texture, and a persons personal background can all play a role in how the hair will feel and move."

His appreciation of new trends and up and coming fashion designs allows him the versatility to mix new looks with old. With such a diverse range of style to craft, Ben Sharifian has been recognized as Toronto.com's "Best Hair Salon Finalist" for five years in a row. 

WORK EXPERIENCE

Ben Sharifian worked in Yorkville for many years before opening his own salon in the Danforth Area. Now, he takes his clients by appointment and is looking to open a second location!

Ben not only has talent, but has a good heart. He strongly believes in helping the community through volunteer and charity involment. In order to give back what he has received, he contributes his talent, he raises funds and offers his support wherever possible. He has contributed his support to the friends and family of the Cancer Society, Women's Shelter, Toronto Rape Crisis Centre, Multicultural Women Against Rape, Epilepsy Toronto, "Signing Out" The Lesbian & Gay Chorus of Toronto, TD Bank, Univeristy Health Network, "Soy" Supporting our Youth, Tafelmusik, Cooperative & Career Education, Look at Me Now!, Childhood Cancer Foundation, YWCA and countless others !!!
